The Nursery is the place to be at Crestview Baptist Church! We want our children’s first experience with church to be a good one. Our wonderful nursery volunteers are available to care for infants and toddlers, through 3 years of age, during Sunday School and Morning Worship Service.
The Children’s Ministry at our church exists to provide all children with a solid spiritual foundation for the future growth & life in Christ. We participate in a variety of ministries & activities including CentriKid Camp, Mission Outreach, Sunday Bible Study, fun activities. Wednesday Mission Education, Children’s Choir, Operation Christmas Child, Vacation Bible School, fellowships, as well as other fun activities. We provide opportunities for students to connect to the college ministry, with the ultimate goal of reaching the world one student at a time. There are two specific ways you can do that: Sunday School: A time for students to gather together at 9:45 am on Sunday mornings in the Young Guns’ Classroom. Bible Study: The purpose and goal of the Bible Study is to be the fuel to the mission. Believers encourage and equip each other to know God and make Him known. Our Bible Study meets at 7:30 PM Wednesdays. Please click here to see more about our College Ministry.
Please join us at 9:45AM every Sunday for Sunday School. We have many classes to choose from. There are classes for all age groups from Nursery thru Senior Adults. There is also a class especially for college students. If you prefer, there is a class for married couples. There are also separate classes for men & women if that is your preference. Sunday School is where we learn the building blocks of our faith & helps us to mature in our spiritual walk with Jesus Christ.
Consider using your God-given gift of music through the ministry of Crestview Baptist Church. Whether you sing or play an instrument, we would like you to know that you are always welcome to participate. We also have Jesus Freaks, a youth & children’s stick team. Adult choir practice is held on Wednesday evenings at 7:30PM. Children & Youth Christmas musical practice begins in October. Please click here to see more about our Music Ministry.
Our ministry team is made up of senior volunteers who plan & carry out various ministries & activities. They plan a variety of activities such as day trips to local areas, beach trips, mission activities, dinner out, & other activities that encourage fellowship. We also have a program, ADOPT-A-FRIEND, to minister to those with diminished physical mobility. We adopt a less active senior & minister to them by sending cards, phone calls, & anything God leads us to do. Quarterly we have a large gathering & bring our adopted friends together for fun & fellowship. We would be delighted to have you join us! Please click here to see more about our Senior Ministry.
WMU & Women’s Ministry
The WMU & Women’s Ministry group is open to all women. We encourage women to become active in mission outreach opportunities & fellowship with one another. We value each other as Christian women & feel it’s important to have Christian friends. We have regular fellowship events including meetings, mission events, dinners, craft events, & social gatherings. We are currently in the process of putting together our own cookbook. We welcome new ideas & new participants to our group! Please click here to see more about our Women's Ministry.
Our purpose is to come together as a team to provide assistance for any needs that an individual or the church may have. We, as Christians, are called to take care of our own. We all have unique gifts and as believers are called to use our gifts as GOD leads us. We may build a ram, cut fallen trees, paint or any task that is needed.
We sponsor a breakfast fund-raiser for the community the first Saturday of each month. We also hold workdays at the church various times throughout the year. Please click here to see more about our Men's Ministry.
We Care Team
We show our fellow members “We Care” about them through prayers, phone calls, visits, & cards. We Care offers you an opportunity to use your talents to share Christ’s love with others. We have groups meeting at different times during the month.
Our group is made up of men & women volunteers who are certified with the NC Baptist Men to help those in need in our community, state, & nation. Out goal is to help clean up & rebuild after disasters, such as storms, earthquakes, fires, & tornadoes. Also, the NC Baptist Men maintain medical & dental bus ministries.
